realy hard to work with macro's. got any tips guys???

welcome to the club! ;)

i've had a wee bit of experience with macros and finally got a couple of decent ones over the weekend. use natural light, don't zoom, and have it on the macro setting. well...that stuff worked for ME, anyway. keep taking pix and have fun with it.

you have cool pix (Y)

thanks anita. indeed natural light is best source, cuz flash always spoils stuff.

i need to find a way not to shake my camera without using tripod ;)

and yeah bill, i am pretty crazy about it so far, as it is my first digital camera

took already like 200 pics, from which maybe less then 50 looks good. need to find which settings are best to use depending on surroundings (light, etc)

I went to the Longwood Gardens in PA today. I brought my Canon A80 with a Walmart Tripod with me but they won't allow me to take the tripod in the garden. :(

Here is some sample of the pictures I took today with 4pm natural light and handheld.
