Lingwo
Does the Vita need to be slimmer? I think it is good looking piece of kit. I suppose it is good way to jog peoples memories about the Vita. I understood with making the PSP slimmer by losing the UMD drive. DrunknMunky Veteran Posted January 24, 2014 Veteran Share Posted January 24, 2014 Looks like I need to get a move on if I want an LED Vita. Going to a bit of trouble to introduce something they already showed last year. Maybe another PS3 slim is coming too? 18 months or whatever for the Super Slim isn't very long though.. Brian M. Veteran Posted January 24, 2014 Veteran Share Posted January 24, 2014 Thinner but with a lower quality screen IIRC? Hopefully they won't discontinue the old one. Lingwo
maybe they'll "slim" .. down the price for the vita memory cards .... one can dream I thought they already dropped the memory card prices? Maybe it was just Japan? I think it was around the time they announced the new party pack bundles. LittleNeutrino Veteran Posted January 24, 2014 Veteran Share Posted January 24, 2014 I have the original Vita and i can say from what i understand about the new one the biggest bonus is the battery life as the original version has horrible battery life. Also they removed the un used port on the top of the device. However, they also made the touch pad on the back smaller and put a crappier screen on it. so to each their own. Yeah, i thought they were still pretty pricey. I want a 32GB. I think that'll depend on what game you're playing. I've been playing Person 4 Golden on mine and i get about 4-5 hours if i'm lucky. This is with most of the default settings and wifi on. trooper11
I would put my money on this being the same Vita announced in Japan. Another slim ps3 isn't crazy, but it seems like a strange way to announce that.
