trooper11
That's weird, I wonder why no One release. My wife is a fan of the series, so we will be getting this. DrunknMunky Veteran Posted January 30, 2014 Veteran Share Posted January 30, 2014 The previous games were released on 360 so maybe it's just a quick port and hence no X1 release? GotBored
Personally prefer simulation games on PC, but that is weird its skipping the Xbox One. The PS4 has sold much more units and therefore has a larger customer base so maybe that's why its only making a PS4 version? Last time I checked PS4 sold 4>m consoles and Xbox One sold 3>m consoles. So yes it's weird they're skipping the One. Maybe Sony paying big money for this? Xbox 360 will also be getting it. And latest numbers I've seen have the PS4 at 4.7 Million units sold and the Xbox One at 3.3 Million. So 1.4 Million more PS4's sold is quite a bit. Not going to discuss facts, but when companies decide to scrap DLC like Batman for Wii U because of weak demand, that's understandable as that console is really not selling well. Xbox One is by no means selling poorly, it's just not the nr 1. Both consoles(PS4/Xbox One) show promise of great success and a lot of future sales. I still fail to see why they did not go for the Xbox One too. Nashy
It's certainly not a reason to skip it. Money must be involved on Sony's part. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1198711-tropico-5-announced-for-ps4/#findComment-596242527 Share on other sites

Try to downplay that all you want, but to a game developer, that is a lot of potential customers.
