Ok, that clip was pretty damn epic :D

 

Although the 3 punks look awful....

 

ya the CG Arnold was actually the most realistic i've ever seen.

Why didn't they get Bill Paxton to reprise his role from Terminator?

 

Because he's too old to play that role now?   It'd look silly.

CGI Arnie looks great!  Let's just CGI all the actors, probably cheaper.

I don't know about this one but on the topic of rated R vs PG-13, I think, if the studio really wants to do things this way they should at least release a rated R "directors cut" on BD/DVD later, for those of us who aren't under 18 and might want to see it how it's meant to be.

I enjoyed it.  I thought the pacing was good, acting was decent, and plot holes were forgiven and moved on from easily.  My girlfriend also enjoyed it, who is also your mum.

Times have changed... If the original Terminator came out today, it would probably be a PG-13 too, uncut.

I was checking out the Sony PlayStation store and the movie is available for pre-order. It even has a pre-order bonus, a PS4 theme. Is pre-ordering a movie that just came out in theaters a new thing? I guess they looked at games that are on pre-order that are coming out next year and though it could work on movies too. Soon we will see pre-orders before theater release with a bonus ticket to see the movie at a theater?

Amazon and Xbox Video has pre-order also.
