It's a ministart. I'll admit, they did a nice job to integrate future apps into the old desktop, but there's some things that just need a boot from the OS. It's not 1995 anymore.

Now this I like and makes a hella lot more sense.  At least on the desktop version, mobiles should obviously just have the full screen tiles as before.  Best of both worlds.  Can finally re-arrange the f'ing start menu again without having to use the file manager (or menu replacement) to do it.. organizing 8's menu was just awful.

That start menu seems a bit like walking backwards into the future, but whatever, doesn't affect me anyway as I'm pretty sure I can use the start screen and task bar as before.

What is IoT though ?

So no free desktop windows (with bing) as rumored then?

Maybe that will be unveiled later, or the with bing was a feature beta lab.

Virtual buttons

Changeable shells, so you can change your phone's color.

Dual SIM has two tiles for phone and sms.

i wonder why that start menu item is not in the version of the update that was released via windows update a few weeks ago :D well i suppose we will all see it next week anyway.
