At the time, both companies said a PS4 version was coming "soon". It looks like they weren't kidding either, with the Play app ready to be installed on your PS4 dashboard today.

As usual, Play has no contracts, works as a month-to-month subscription and still allows for you to use Go.

This also means the PS4 now has both Quickflix and Foxtel Play as native apps, while the Xbox One still awaits the arrival of either...

You'll find the Play app on the PSN store. Remember, if your PS4 is in standby mode and you have it set up for automatic updates, you can grab the Play app via the store's web interface and have it downloaded automatically during the day.

For those outside of Australia, Foxtel is Australia's largest cable TV provider. This app allows you to stream cable tv channels over the internet and is similar to Quickflix where you can stream tv shows and movies when you want rather than waiting for the show or movie to play in its dedicated time slot.

Always good to see more apps.

Foxtel, however, is rubbish & is fueling piracy by exclusive deals which make programs like Game of Thrones only available on Foxtel. You have to wait until the whole program has aired to buy it on other platforms (iTunes, Google Play, Quickflix etc.) If Foxtel thinks I am signing up to one of their ###### bundles for one show they're kidding themselves.

They do the same thing to a lot of shows and sport events, its one of the main reasons people get cable tv.

True. I used GoT because it is such a popular show that people would definitely want to buy on their platform of choice. If you own an Apple TV, for example, you would no doubt want to purchase it on iTunes. CHromeCast, Play store, I suppose, or if you are a QF subscriber you might want to stream it from there.
