Teamviewer on os x as a system service

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if the full installation of teamviewer 9 on os x can run as a system service?  I'd like it to run as soon as the os boots up so I don't have to wait for a user to log in.  Basically I have my rMBP that has the full install that I use for all my remote access into every other computer, but I do remote into it from work from time to time.  If the laptop needs to be restarted then I cannot get back into it until I physically log into it.

TVhost doesn't allow me to remote control other computer systems.  And you cannot have TVhost and the full install of TV on a computer at the same time.  I use TVhost on my mac mini server and on all of my family's computers.

I do believe I have figured this out.  As far as I can tell, my rMBP doesn't automatically reconnect to my wireless network until I log back into my account.  Thus, even though TV starts as a system service, it cannot connect back to the TV system because the laptop doesn't have a connection.

Now if I can figure out a way to make the wireless automatically connect upon startup and not wait for login that would be outstanding.
