This needs to have an option. There are three punctuation marks that you really need: . , ?

. is there by default.

you can put , in there from options.

but ? is a pain to use.

Since first two are available in the keyboard directly, I wish I could configure double tab space to ?

Tap and hold . for a few hundred milliseconds and then swipe to ? without lifting your finger. Try that.

I know and that's what I do but I still find it problematic given that you need comma less and ? more.

I did no such thing. They did break the record. That a much more powerful Android device with a very talented teen broke it later doesn't change that.

It's also interesting that the article you cite involves a non-swiping keyboard system. So what's your point?

My point is I don't ######ing care about android. I used the wordflow and I love it. But I think there are improvements that needs to be made.

started noticing yesterday that my battery was at 64% and within an hour the battery was completely dead.  I looked in the battery saver app and it told me that it looked like nothing had used the battery and it could not figure it out.

I did a full power cycle of the phone and then fully charged it last night so hopefully i will figure out what happened to it.

Then you might consider NOT citing articles about Android.

You believe continuous shape-writing would be an improvement. As long as I'm not required to slide over space to separate words I have no problem with your request. I just don't think it's practical and I don't see its absence as a "major issue".

And stating that is not against the forum rules.

As our moderator pointed out, let's be civil, ok?

I didn't cite android until you mentioned world record (like that means anything lol) and posted a snarky comment [ https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1213521-windows-phone-81-dev-preview-updated/?view=findpost&p=596403793 ]. Yeah, stating it not against the forum rules; neither being snarky I guess.

May be tell that to yourself first.

It is IE and this problem is not WP8.1's. It has been there since first WP8. Something would get "stuck" in IE and keep draining battery even if you close tab and close the IE app. Nothing can stop it except a power cycle.

MS still didn't fix this; really disappointing.

We obviously have different definitions of snarky and civility. Sorry you think the new keyboard has "major issues". I hope Microsoft eventually makes one you approve of.
