Dear Windows X,

Please, tell us what da hell is this Yosemite Transformation Pack.

Here is what I see.  I see the name of this product called "Yosemite Transformation Pack".  From that title, I know this is a theme of some sort.  I know this pack is used for transforming some OS to look a certain way.  That is all I know.  After the product title, you went on to list "Features" and "Credits" and all that.. But why in the world you did not put a few sentence explaining what this "Yosemite Transformation Pack" is for?

It should have been something like:

Yosemite Transformation Pack.

What is Yosemite Transformation Pack?  Yosemite Transformation Pack is blah blah blah.... and so on...

Kinda awful to have to read all the "features" to try to figure out what a Yosemite Transformation Pack is for.  So based on the "Features" listed, this should be a transformation theme pack for Microsoft Windows OS?  Thanks for the hard work "Windows X" I think I will try this thing on the VM OS.  Looks good but first glance of the thread confused me as to what it's for.

It left me pondering so it was not that obvious.  I can only guess/assume what it is from the title.  But after the title, I was hoping the OP would give a sentence or two, stating what this product is for and which OS.  I had to scrub through the "Features" listing to figure it out.  Was expecting to read that after the title.  I had to click on the download link to read what it is.  I am a creature of habits I guess.  Expecting a definition after a title.

Now I have a question tho.  After visitting the link, I still wonder the difference between "Yosemite Transformation Pack 2.0" and "Yosemite UX Pack 2.0"... I guess I have to try to do some more digging.

The UX Pack doesn't modify system files, so if you want to be 100% safe, use that one. The other one involves modifications of system files.

Ok, was just asking, I'd be mad if my theme was repacked.

Well, I understand. I'd be mad too when someone ripped my work off when I was XP themer back in Longhorn days. Sorry if that sounds too offensive. I was little frustrated to be lumped with people doing repacks without proper procedures.

Looks like the "Yosemite UX Pack 2.0" does not work on my Windows 7 x64 VM.  Everything goes blank.  Only see wallpaper and then Norton quaranteen 2 exe file.

well there's your first problem right there. you're using norton so it's most likely blocking the pack as a false positive

It's a Yosemite ... (wait for it) Transformation Pack, obviously for Windows (duh, OSX cannot be rethemed/transformed) and why would you them OSX Yosemite into a pseudoYosemite theme?

There are ways to apply themes to OS X (albeit possibly in a more limited fashion...), so theoretically you could try to make Mavericks look a bit more like Yosemite if you really wanted to... or you could simply wait a few more months... ;)
