Ambroos
Perfect chance to post! New PC, so I finally moved to Windows 8. StartIsBack, Glass8 with a custom Atlas file and I'm pretty happy with the result. Don't use Metro, I absolutely hate the font rendering. I use gdipp to get (much) better font rendering all over Windows. Takes a bit of getting used to, but it makes things look a lot smoother. It's pretty old software and causes some font rendering issues in some rare software, but I've only had that happen for the Dropbox status window at times. Specs: i7-4790k (4x 4.0Ghz with HyperThreading, Turbo to 4.4Ghz on all cores) 16GB Crucial 1600Mhz CL8 DDR3L (low-power low-profile) Crucial MX100 256GB Some old WD 1TB HDD Gigabyte Z97-D3H (no GPU, I don't game, I need the CPU power and RAM, hence the i7) margrave 1 Share

Max Norris
Nothing fancy, probably the last one for this particular machine before it gets another hardware and OS update, last one in the house that hasn't gone to 8.1 yet. Scaled down quite a bit and only one of three monitors. Fooling around with Rainmeter a bit, been a while since I last had it, probably not keeping it on though. TAZMINATOR
Clicking the image will enlarge it. :) Yeah I did but not what I meant... I thought you'd be on the larger screen resolution such as 1600x1200 something like that. Your screen seems like 1024x768 to me.

Your screen seems like 1024x768 to me. Well, I'm on a laptop with a screen resolution of 1366x768. Doesn't seem bad to me, but I guess it's a noticeable difference for people who use PC monitors or TVs as their main display source.

beanboy89
1366x768 is still a really common resolution for older and lower-end laptops. My 13" Ultrabook runs it just fine. HDavid 1 Share

I know what you meant but Lime is into VM and other tech stuff... which made me think that he is using higher screen resolution.. I have seen him talking/helping people about VMs and other stuff. One of my old Windows laptops which is sitting in my closet... Hopefully I will have it fixed soon.. which it has similar Mac's screen resolution.. the taskbar and text were very small on that screen.
