Hell no, don't let the cats in the house. Sticking around meaning they stay outside, but stick around.

I live out in the country and they have plenty of places to go off to, and they do sometimes, but usually return.

They aren't relying on me for food. I've seen them many times with huge mice, rabbits, and all types of things they were eating.

The dogs eventually will come near anyone, simply because they NEED them.

Dogs and cats are really different breeds. Dogs are more social.

I'm a slave to my own sadness, don't need to trap a dog, ha.

Hmm, OK.

Which makes me wonder what the point on having an outdoor cat is? I mean if they feed themselves and clean themselves that means they only use you for shelter.

Again, I don't think that's the case since I've seen dogs hate strangers for no reason because they believe they are protecting their owner.

I don't think having needy pets makes you a slave, you did voluntarily buy them after-all. :)
