It prob has air, cause from the looks of the pic it's touching the ground as it sits...

So if it has air, then you can control the amount of space between car and road? How responsive is it. Like does it happen quickly?

its called airbag suspension. it sits touching the ground while car is in park and lifts a bit when motor is running. height can be changed too

one would hope it has an airbag system.

My Last car was a 98 gst on 17" tenzo av7's. No body kit *other than factory kit* or suspension change and it scraped like hell on speed bumps and driveways, had to totaly adjust driving habits.

I had not one STICKER on my car, no body kit and i even replaced the factory spoiler with a smaller profile gs spoiler. Made for hella fun when the riced

hondas would pull up next to me : D.

It all depends on the kinda setup your running, some can be slow and take a while like the kind on my van (yes, van) or fast to something that is *almost* like hydralics, someone will have to correct me on the latter if I'm wrong.

screw looks, you can look as good as you want but of you cant hold your own against a minorly moded escort or civic its is just a pretty peice or crap IMO. personaly i'd rather look stock and kill the Si that's riced out.

i want it fixed up already because im pretty sure u end up paying the same ****

The only thing I see is it's someone elses idea for fixing one up. If you want your idea put on your car, then get a car a mod it. Anyone can get one of the cars you're looking for and mod it cheap because the list you gave are cheaply modded cars.

As for the dealerships, I have no idea of anyone that does that. Mainly, they do not do it because of liability issues. For instance, they can't provide warranties because a lot of aftermarket parts void warranties.

Good luck in your search though.

I would have to agree with a few folks on the fix it up yourself, cause you are probably gonna end up spending more money buying one that is fixed up not to mention you run the chance of gettting a car that was raced alot and it wont last you very long without serious work that'll cost even more. So the smart thing to do would to buy a stock car. If your willing to work get a AWD turbo DSM, thats pretty much the best thing to have and it'll beat any honda and most of everything else out there with bolt-ons. Just make sure you got a shop around that can work on DSMs and you'll be straight.

As far as the car he posted to everybody else. Yea of course that car as air suspension and looking at how the car is modded it probably has a fast bag setup which means he can change heights rather quickly. Its really a great thing to have. You can slam it when your parked and someone couldn't really steal your car cause if they tried, it really wouldnt be able to drive it. Then during riding you can have it at a perfect ride height thats high enough to not scrape on anything, but still looks good. Not to mention you can also jack it all the way up over speed bumps and driveways and not have to worry about scraping anything. But the price really isnt that much. You can get a kit for like a grand or so, and its really not that hard to put on but if you need somebody to do it for you, they shouldn't charge more than $500

Thats just my .02
