CatnipOligarchy
i think so. clemens wasnt ready to retire anyways. he realizes hes still a very effective pitcher, i think he just figured since he got his 300th win and 4000th strikeout, he'd go ahead and go back home to texas. he said he wouldnt do this probably because the rangers suck, but now that pettitte has signed with houston, and they are looking like possible contenders next year, he'll get the best of both worlds, pitching for a good team and staying at home. threetonesun
Clemens is such a wacko, the further he gets away from New York the better.
CatnipOligarchy
clemens hasnt ever pitched in the NL though, i bet he would lose some effectiveness.. he wouldnt be able to throw inside as much with him having to bat and all. the DH sucks

fahad
Jordan actually retired 3 times 1 for baseball, 1 after beating the Jazz in the Finals and winning his last championship, and once after coming back with the Wizards
rushers38
clemens is still an awesome arm and even if he doesnt play a single game he will be so valuable to the young guys on the staff that he helps them get better also.
IlliniPi
Jordan actually retired 3 times1 for baseball, 1 after beating the Jazz in the Finals and winning his last championship, and once after coming back with the Wizards I wouldn't consider him leaving baseball a retirement. He wasn't even that good.
