It could be more wide spread but briefly seen this earlier and it looked like it was just this one guy. mine should me waiting for me getting home.. i'm hoping my copy doesn't look like all the characters are having a seizure.

The Wii community consists of really young kids and moms.

I never got into these. They're just way, way too fast. I like games like Quake 3 so speed isn't an issue for me but you have to split-second-remember the various combinations and decide the split-second time when to use them.

 

It's just a stressful game series- and stress is the opposite of fun for me.

For starters this is a Wii U not a Wii, and the graphics are amazing, and not all games require amazing graphics to be amazing.

 

The Wii U is the most fun console i've owned and the graphics are great, nintendo stuff is more cartoony so realism isn't really a factor(which i'm assuming requires the majority of GPU power), this allows the Wii U to excel in other areas, the character models and lighting on these games really gives off a wow factor. The lighting on Wind Waker HD (a 10 year old game) is stunning and games like Bayonetta 2 really show off the Wii U's capabilities.

I definitely don't have this problem with my copy. Played my first game with 4 other people (5 people at the same time). It was pure, chaotic fun.

Guys, I think some of you are taking this thread a bit to seriously considering it's posted in Jokes & Funny Stuff. The screens above do not accurately reflect what the game's like. (At least I hope not anyway) I just thought it was funny that some copies appear to have glitchy models & textures, which could happen to any game really. I thought you guys would see the humorous side of things, but I guess not.

You do realize graphical performance is NOT a subjective matter? It is in terms of taste (eg, you like nintendo cell shadding and cartooning) it is, but raw graphical performance is a whole different thing. Agreed consoles tend to different crowds as well, but almost anyone i've met who had multiple consoles, almost always said "I wish wii/Wii U games were better looking"

Yeah, I'll admit the title probably wasn't the best for a joke thread. Though I kinda thought the screens would have made it obvious. :p
