What was the last movie you watched? (2015 Edition)

Recommended Posts

Mad Max Fury Road - 7/10 - great action, pretty much no story.

Ex-Machina - 4/10 - Was decent right up until the last 20 minutes or so of the movie.

The end was just plain stupid considering the pilot didnt question where she had come from

Marley and Me

I hadn't watched it before today, and I knew there was a good reason for it. It's not a masterpiece, but I'm still sat here with tears rolling down my face. I had to step outside for a cigarette just to stop myself going in to a full bawling session.

7/10

I watched Spy two days ago. It was a great new take on a somewhat old concept (007 parodies). Jason Statham taking on a comedic role was especially surprising, but he did a great job with it; and of course Melissa McCarthy is always funny. I highly recommend this one. 8/10.

Deep Web -- created by Alex Winter, the guy who played Bill in Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, and narrated by Keanu Reeves (Ted, from the same movie). It circles around Silk Road, Bitcoin and the Dark Web. Quite an interesting documentary, that felt a bit like an expose at times.

Princess Mononoke - 9/10

I watched this for the first time in about ten years or so. The Blu-ray version this time around. Oh my goodness, it is more amazing than I remembered. The animation still holds up as some of the best to date and the story is unforgettable.

I tried to get into it, i just could not.  at all.

Spirited Away on other hand is a true 10/10 for young and the old alike.   Howls Moving Castle is good too.   I found Princess Mononoke much less enjoyable then this 2. Much less.

This again, I don't watch much anime.  I just know Spirited Away is great :p Watched it 6 times over last 10 years, having to show it to new people I meet.

Yeah, I am planning to watch it, but definately not because Melissa McCarthy is always funny.  I hope she is funny enough in this one, as I mostly found her movies annoying, not funny.
