gillmacca
StyleXP (v 1 and 2) do not work with this update....styleXP (after installing Jan Update) claims I am not using a valid build of XP. It worked perfectly fine before installing this update
akaladis Veteran Posted January 24, 2004 Veteran Share Posted January 24, 2004 StyleXP prolly doesnt recognise the new uxtheme.dll (MS has made a new version of uxtheme.dll, which we included)... I thought the Jason had it pre-patched though... that means the StyleXP's uxtheme handling is not needed when you have a patched uxtheme.dll /Raptor

The Moog
Can you just disable the UxTheme.dll patcher when installing AutoPatcher? Will that allow StyleXP to work properly? The Moog

GSDragoon
I originally had a 768/128K connection. I was hearing on the Broadbandreports.com forums that due to competition that they will prolly raise the cap sometime at the begining of this year. Well, they happened to raise it today while i was sharing. I came on today and saw my upload speed was going at 25k/sec instead of the usual 12k. So now I have 2x the bandwidth :) I felt good that I shared 4x as I recived too.

Nice program once again :D you missed one update though.. on the mdac security components.. i see it on windows update.. no biggy though.. Security Update for Microsoft Data Access Components (KB832483) Download size: 2.0 MB, 14 minutes An identified security issue in Microsoft Data Access Components could allow an attacker to compromise a Windows-based system and take a variety of actions. For example, an attacker could execute code on the system. By installing this update, you help protect your computer. After you install this item, you may have to restart your computer. If it hasn't fully processed that the MDAC 2.8 was installed, it doesn't install the upgrade, I had it workin' on 5 systems, so I released it, but some will probably slip through the cracks. Sorry 'bout that. :)
