Cannot install UxStyle under Windows 8.1 Update 3 (November Update)

I installed Windows 8.1 Update 3 (November Update) from ISO (ru_windows_8.1_pro_vl_with_update_x64_dvd_6050899.iso) and cannot install UxStyle.

Try this

to apply a patch to system files such as uxtheme.dll. To remedy this you must open a command prompt (run as Administrator) and execute the following command: sfc /scannow. After it finishes you should be able to run the installer for the program with no issue.

Are you sure you ran it as admin? (right click->run as admin)

How about after you un-install UXStyle and the screen just starts flashing on reboot. The curser is still active when you move the mouse it is like its in a loop.

 

I seldom think these types of programs are able to remove themselves completely.
