Windows Media Center. - Time to let go.

DVD playback. Now, this is a HUGE loss. What the **** are they thinking here?

Desktop gadgets. - No loss here. Do people still use these?

Preinstalled games. - Meh.

Floppy drive support. - Lol.

Windows Live Essentials (Windows Essentials). - Meh.

Windows Updates. - Eh.

So the biggest drop is DVD playback.

And even that is easily - and freely - fixable; simply install VLC Media Player (either x32 OR x64) - it's how I play DVDs in Windows 10 (Pro and Enterprise) today.

Floppies - haven't used any since 7 (in fact, I haven't used any since XP); I pulled the drive itself with Vista.  I'll re-use the bay for either an SSD or USB3+ ports.

WU - moved to Settings.  (Biggest possible quibble is a broken update - however, broke updates aren't THAT big a problem to deal with for most folks - even of the non-technical sort.)

Pre-installed games - nonissue.

WMC - became a non-issue with providers' insistence on PC non-support.  (I'm talking content providers - not necessarily cable companies; I didn't get much use out of WMC with even 8, which supported it.  Thanks to Hulu and progeny thereof, there are alternatives even for broadcast programs - let alone cable/satellite programming.)

Net loss - zero.
