Elliot B.
I got the chart from Tom's Hardware. The prices are from Ebuyer and are the lowest price/starting price for each model. Just thought it'd help put the current GPU situation in perspective

Luc2k
980 Ti is also coming tomorrow, and with AMD's new cards, I expect prices will fluctuate for both sides.

tsupersonic
Going to stick with my GTX 770 for a bit. For the current games on 1080p, it does excellent. Monitors are falling behind...I'm waiting patiently for 4k monitors to get better.
Bryan R.
I just got the GTX 970 from the R9 270. Quite satisfied. Going to stick with my GTX 770 for a bit. For the current games on 1080p, it does excellent. Monitors are falling behind...I'm waiting patiently for 4k monitors to get better. Likewise. I play on a 42" at 1080. I'm waiting for 1440 or 4k monitors/TVs to get to 40"+ at decent quality.

I thought it was coming on the 2nd and I haven't read any HW sites today.
Yusuf M. Veteran Posted June 1, 2015 Veteran Share Posted June 1, 2015 It'll be interesting to see how prices change once AMD's new cards are out. I don't plan on upgrading anytime soon unless I give my cards to my brothers.
coth
R9 290 is nowhere near to be on same level as GTX 970. It's just slightly faster than GTX 960, yet R9 290 cost 1,5 times more than GTX 960. 12000? vs 18000? in average. http://www.overclockers.ru/lab/68859/vedmak-3-dikaya-ohota-testirovanie-proizvoditelnosti.html http://www.overclockers.ru/lab/68849_3/testirovanie-aktualnyh-sistem-v-grand-theft-auto-san-andreas-grand-theft-auto-iv-episodes-from-liberty-city-i-grand-theft-auto-v.html http://www.overclockers.ru/lab/68709/project-cars-testirovanie-proizvoditelnosti.html

The only game where that isn't the case is Project CARS and only because AMD cards perform poorly in that game.

Luc2k
The table is from Tom's Hardware. I added the prices myself. I know that, I'm just saying it's outdated for missing AMD's current top single GPU card. It seems worth mentioning (price and all) even if it's not in the chart, especially since the date of your update is post launch.
