Ad blocking extensions have been possible on Safari for Mac for a long time, but plugin architecture for Safari on iOS is much more limited. Agreed. It wouldn't be such a problem if it weren't for popover ads. I refuse to visit sites that have popover ads on a mobile site. And if they have tiny little 'X' to close it, I won't even go back on any device, period. I banish the site from my viewing habits.
