New icons in 10147

Settings app also has some new transitions, a 'pop effect'.

 

It also uses your accent colour now.

 

Edge branding is in this build.

 

More apps are showing on the taskbar without a tile now, such as Music - updated with a new icon too.

 

New tile transitions, they slide up with a slower finish now - looks good.

Praise the lord Win32 apps now have the window controls centred.

Updated buttons for Win32 apps too. New selection look in Explorer too.

 

Spartan Uh i mean Edge now has an option for a dark theme.

Alarms and Clock now changes the colour of the titlebar.

Great, last thing is updated icons in explorer - thanks God for centered buttons in win32 apps, more updated icons = more happy people on the planet : p

I cant get 10147 to activate. I get this error "The activation server determined the specific product key has been blocked". wat!

Tablet mode has some minor changes I think, check it out, there should be new icons visible at the bottom and not just the hamburger menu at the top like before.

I got a network issue after update 10130....unidentified network, no internet access, also battery is draining very quickly. so i restored my previous build 10074

 

please help to upgrade successfully.

That happened to me before, I think I uninstalled the network device and restarted and it installed the device with it's own drivers again.

No longer valid, but I suppose it doesn't overly matter. People are really only downloading this to see what's new in a VM, so it won't matter if it can't activate. The VM will probably survive for roughly an hour before being destroyed anyhow.

I'm running it on my main machine, not in a VM. :p Anyway, didn't get any activation warning either.

 

I'm having a blast, through. This version seems to work an aweful lot better then build 10130. No regrets here. Now onto the next official preview build.
