Jaspert0079 Posted June 25, 2015 Share Posted June 25, 2015 Hello, I'm running build 10047 W10 and I noticed this service is letting my harddrive run overtime; Service: microsoft compatibility telemetry I know this service is to collect all kind of data so MS can improve W10 but is their any way to shut it down /prevent starting itself? Noir Angel Posted December 7, 2015 Share Posted December 7, 2015 Open an elevated command prompt, and enter the 2 following commands one after one another (This will remove tracking services completely).
