Michael Abrahams
Is there a working way to reset my start menu to the default as it would in a clean install? I've searched around and nothing I've found seems to work. I'm on the latest build.
Eric Veteran Posted June 30, 2015 Veteran Share Posted June 30, 2015 Move your personal files to another folder, create a temporary account, delete your original account then recreated it and move your files back. I haven't seen any way to reset.
greenwizard88
My start menu is pretty wacked, but at this point I think my whole PC is a little messy - enough where just trying to fix/remove Visual Studio and install VS 2015 would take longer than it would to "Refresh my PC". I guess what I'm saying is, I see a refresh in my very near future.
Link_of_Hyrule
My start menu has a bunch of @whatever junk at the top of the all apps they really need to fix that bug it's rather annoying.
Link_of_Hyrule
This is what it looks like for me there must be a way to remove the app list and reset it some how other than just remaking an account.

Ian S.
I take it nobody has figured this out? Have you not read what Eric wrote? Besides, there is no way to reset it, there never has been in any other version of Windows. Move your personal files to another folder, create a temporary account, delete your original account then recreated it and move your files back. I haven't seen any way to reset.
