Use Microsoft's KMS key associated with your edition. (when prompted during the process of re-formatting)

I don't even know where to get the ISO. I just woke up, my brain is sputtering like a flood engine...

last night, I went to Windows Update, and I got message: do you want to install Windows 10 now?   I was like huh?  it seem already downloaded so faster! I clicked on ready to install, then it restart, and it started install for about one hour.   I was like wow! I tested Edge with flash player, and it look so faster than old Internet explorer 11.  I see my old IE on taskbar. I was like huh? I had an idea, so I can compare Edge VS IE 11. I check task manager. I love that new Edge so much, because it is better with flash player. (Y)

Ahh... I already have the 64bit, I guess I just use the Media Creation Part. Awesome. I guess I solved my own answer.

My mom just asked "Can I get Windows 10 on my laptop?" My response was "Windows 10 would kill your laptop, quite literally...". It has 2GB Max memory supported >_<

Adore your sense of humor.

Especially because x86 (32bit)s edition will work fine on a device with 2GBs of RAM.

Before I went to bed I saw that Windows 10 was ready to be installed on my secondary notebook (Win 8.1) so I let it run through the night.  No comment on the speed of the installation because I was passed out.  When I woke it was ready minus a few updates and other initial settings (no big whoop).

No big surprises since I ran the Insider Preview, all my gripes and accolades are still there.  It still feels very much incomplete, unpolished but solid.  Though I've only played around for a couple of hours since I woke ... I'm pretty much come to the conclusion (in its present form) it isn't ready for my primary notebook/desktop.

However, this is what Windows 8 should have been and I'm already more pleased with it on this secondary notebook than I ever was with 8.

Flash is garbage.

Use HTML5 instead.  Check and see if your browser is HTML5 compatible.

I just forced the upgrade on my work comp. Got bored waiting

They allowed you to do that at work? Or are you using the excuse of "testing"?

Now that I have it, its ok. I hate how the photo app works though and I can't figure out how to stop showing me ALL of my photos even the unedited ones I don't want to see.

If its anything like where I am at, we have local admin rights because it is needed for development.

Also, my employer is required by our MS competencies and gold partnerships to be on the latest version of Windows.

Hi all,

UK here on Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, I have not received any cdkeys, but the systray icon is saying I am waiting for a notification to install?

So I've done an upgrade on my work laptop and everything has gone through okay.  I've now done a fresh install on my Surface Pro 3 which went through fairly quickly.

One thing I have noticed is that with a fresh install I used customs settings and choose to have WiFi Sense turned off (why would you even have this on?).  Once I got to the desktop I had a message pop up telling me that WiFi Sense needed my attention, going in to the settings it was turned back on.

yes. I know, also I was talking about Facebook games app. I heard that Facebook is still thinking about to get rid of flash player in near future, right?

All done - the activation stuck through a fresh install booted from the ISO. Didn't enter a key from setup, as soon as I connected to the internet it was activated.

Anyone know how to force the upgrade to start?  Have a laptop that downloaded all the files yesterday yet I can see failures in Windows Update overnight just as others have (80240020).

also I tested old game like Ghostbusters: video game for PC, and it worked. :)

I had Farmville 2 app on Windows 8.1, but it doesn't work, so I can wait for new Windows 10, and it work very well with Farmville 2 app, because I don't want to reinstall the app on Windows 8.1.....

You may be surprised. I'm running it on a 2010 Macbook Air with 2GB. Works fine.
