I am hoping they don't end up deprecating this for RTM. It's been my fear ever since they somewhat hid the shortcut item to it.

As long as the CPL locator is still in (so it can be accessed from run or the explorer address bar) fine. And of course, hopefully the window manager parses the value selected and applies it after RTM as well.

I have to agree here, I really love tweaking all aspects of my GUI to suit my personal tastes.  Being dictated to one design just irritates me.  I blame Neowin for this.  Been customizing since Windows XP thanks to this place!

You sir, are shentlemen and a golar!

The lack of RGB sliders in Windows 10 (and XB1) has always bemused me, and i do love to play around with my own colour schemes rather than the pre-decided MS ones.

Nah, those are deliberately still there for back compat / power users. <3

That's pretty good news.

I'd never throw my toys out of the pram and have a hissy fit over it, but i sure would have missed them if they'd been removed.

It is still far more limited than in Windows 8. In W8, you can select any of the High Contrast themes, then go in and edit all the colours. That is gone in Windows 10 and I am forced to deal with white boxes everywhere. It's awful!
