Upcoming Windows 10 mobile Lumia flagships could be the 950 and 950XL

The next Lumia flagships might be jumping a step on the number line; skipping the anticipated 940 and 940 XL names many assumed would be on the way. PhoneArena.com, citing Chinese site Weibo, states that the upcoming flagship devices might be called the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL.

 

n addition to these reports about number skipping, if true, these also indicate that Microsoft is sticking to the Lumia plus number naming scheme for the next flagship.

I'm hoping that the 950XL is a phablet - which is something sorely lacking in the WM space.  It would take Microsoft (at this point) to lead in making WM phablets, hence a Lumia phablet.
