Will the upgrade icon re-appear after formatting my computer?

I had to restore my parents' laptop to factory settings ( so I didn't  really format) because it lagged so much. Before I did that it had the windows icon on the taskbar (and I had reserved the upgrade) but now after installing all windows updates, including the optional ones, the icon won't reappear. Help?

 

?DIT: Ok I just saw another thread that said it takes 2-3 days before it shows up. So I'll just wait...

Yeah, give it some time.  I just did the same thing (factory restore) to the wife's laptop about a week ago, and I noticed the Windows 10 upgrade icon back in her systray last night.
