Just installed last week, BT Infinity, highest download rate has been 4.3m

hmmm try the server in London not sure why but i always get better from that one.

I live in London, but I found the London station is not very stable, and had to use Manchester...

I don't even get my already meager promised speeds of 1.5, and my connection fluctuates. DSL! Fluctuating! Pfft

I have Comcast... Recently we downgraded to 12Mbps to save money, yet we still get just as fast as 16Mbps, lol.

This test was done on my netbook through Wi-Fi, of course.

As you can guess the report is wrong, i am unable to get an accurate reading from the site for some reason and if you speak to virgin they just say that speedtest sites are "all" wrong.

Well then there's something else skewing the result. Fact is that you need more than 5mbit upstream to maintain a 500mbit downstream.

Both above results are to Washington, DC, my sig is a speed test to Bermuda (much farther away than Washington, as you can tell by the ping and estimated distance).

EDIT: Also, I'm paying for 16/2, and its Business class which means no monthly cap at all! :p
