I find it strange that the speed is accurate for what I (she?) pay for our service, but the ping is always 150+ to a local server.

But it seems that we're getting pounded with severe thunderstorms atm, and its dropped to around 10/11mb. I really cant complain since I just drove home from work in blinding rain, flashing ligthnin, and 40 mph winds.
