benjamine6
I found this on eBay, But i can't find the specs because the actual name of the product is not listed. Can someone track this down? I want to compare it with my previous video card that conked out a bit ago. I know it's a 1GB. But i want to get more specifications. It's an AMD Radeon HD something. PGHammer
It is (at least) of the age of the HD56xx, or 57xx - it is PCI Express (due to the "fingers" of the slot portion) and requires a fan (this eliminates the HD55xx and HD54xx) - it also requires external power, (which neither HD55xx or HD54xx did). It is also post-merger of ATI and AMD (due to the Radeon Graphics logo on the cooling) which eliminates HD4xxx and older. It's single-slot (which eliminates most HD57xx/HD77xx - but not all), and completely eliminates HD58xx/HD68xx/HD78xx and above. HD77xx was a rebadge of HD57xx - and there were single-slot and powered versions of both - from XFX and HIS, as well as VisionTek and even ASUS. The PCB is green - which points to Visiontek; however, it could be OEM (Dell and HP have used OEM ATI and AMD-driven GPUs with green PCBs). DirtyLarry Veteran Posted August 21, 2015 Veteran Share Posted August 21, 2015 It's not a Radeon 290? I see V290 1.1 pretty prominent on the card itself on the bottom right. I think a 290 is a card they offer no?
