SpaceX Updates (Thread 7)

It would be awesome if one day Elon would just call Robert and tell him he has a suitable fairing for him and that he will chip in a FH of reused cores to launch the whole damn thing, like... yo if Tory wont chip in a launch, I will... lets meet up!

Elon Musk and Lars Blackmore retweeted this video :)

Really amazing when you consider that the first <6meter hop, just over 3.5 years ago now, already feels 'so long ago'. SpaceX have come such a long way in that time, it is simply amazing!

SpaceX Falcon 9 model presented to AFSPC

4/15/2016 - General John E. Hyten, Commander of Air Force Space Command, and Gwynne Shotwell, President and Chief Operating Officer of SpaceX, took part in a ceremony where SpaceX presented AFSPC with a Falcon 9 model April 15 at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. In his comments, General Hyten emphasized the importance of assured access to space and the contributions of our partner companies, such as SpaceX, saying, “Without rockets we can’t get to space and do what we do.” AFSPC provides resilient and affordable space and cyberspace capabilities with a global perspective to the joint warfighting team.

Been there (an uncle worked in Apollo) and it's a great trip, and is getting better with all the new players. Imagine what it'll be like in 10 years?

That said, Imagine a trip through Hawthorne & McGregor....
