IE 6 (2600) Problem viewing pictures

Question

Ok... Almost everytime I visit a sight I get all the blank boxes with the red X's where graphics should be. It happen on almost everypage. If I right click on the image and click "show image" it works but that is very annoying having to do that ALL the time. Any suggestions? I am running Norton Firewall. Not sure if that helps.

Set the firewall to let everything through, if you cant just close it down so it isnt protecting your computer then see if the pictures load up then. I had that same problem and found that the firewall was blocking pictures for some reason.

if that dont work look in the Advanced tab in internet options (Tools, internet options, Advanced) and look down till you see "show pictures" and check that box if it isnt.

Alternatively, if that dont work and you dont want to see box with the X in there. Uncheck "show image download placeholders" in the advanced tab, and those boxes should disappear.
