So I am going to be putting my new PC together this weekend and I am curious about something.

I'm not buying a Windows 10 key yet (retail because when I switch motherboards after a year or so I'd like to transfer it)...I never opted out of the preview builds, but I don't have them installed in my main current PC.

I do have a flash drive that I made from the media creation tool last week. Could I use that, install it, not enter a key and go to settings sign in and start the preview builds?

If not, then how annoying is it going to be for two weeks until I purchase a license from amazon?

I think the time frame / window to have preview keys stay active expired, even if you find a way to install the preview OS with the preview key.

Yeah preview builds aren't any good. They still put out new insider builds though.

I'm almost sure you can do exactly as you said above and start the Insider Builds. During install just choose "I don't have a product key" Then choose the edition you want to install.

Thanks, that's what I thought but wasn't 100% sure about it.
