itsnotabigtruck
AutoPatcher for Servers A package that contains AutoPatcher for Windows 2000 Server and AutoPatcher for Windows Server 2003. AutoPatcher Enterprise Server software allowing enterprises to distribute patches and software through a network. Consists of AutoPatcher Enterprise Client, AutoPatcher Unattended Enterprise, and AutoPatcher Enterprise Server. AutoPatcher Enterprise Server Put on a server, make a database, set it up. Use AP Unattended Enterprise to make your Windows XP install CDs. AP Enterprise Server periodically downloads a mirrors and version information file and upgrades AutoPatcher when necessary. AutoPatcher Unattended Enterprise Automatically creates an unattended Windows XP and/or Windows Server 2003 disc that contains AP Enterprise Client. AutoPatcher Enterprise Client Downloads database and patches from AP Enterprise Server and installs them. AutoPatcher Enterprise Pricing APES: $100 per server APUE: free with APEC APEC: $20 per client for first 10, $10 per client for next 40, $5 per client for all past first 40 AutoPatcher Enterprise Distribution Buy APES with 1, 5, or 10 APEC licenses bundled. Purchase more later. Download after buying using AP Secure Downloading. Each APEC license download installs a unique code into your APES server, then activates that code so APEC can't be distributed via warez sites. APUE can batch create discs, each with a different APEC license. When APEC runs it registers the computer name with APES. When you reinstall APEC checks with APES to see if the computer name associated with the APEC key and the computer name APEC is running on match. AutoPatcher Secure Downloading Allows downloading of AP Enterprise products after buying. Also allows fast downloading of free AP versions. Only allows downloading from servers that are up. AP Enterprise products are keyed for installation to the computer you are downloading them on when you download. eg. if you download APES on computer A, you can only install on computer A. This prevents warezing. Edited January 5, 2004 by memodude
OptiPlex
AutoPatcher Enterprise? There's a thing called SUS  AutoPatcher for Servers I think it's best left separate. Besides all Server 2000 hotfixes are in AP2000. HOpefully it will be released before 2005. :ninja:
Shifty
i dont think you can charge for something that is free to download... its MS property and i know they will make a big fuss about it if its sold even as licenses for a program. as far as your enterprise version is concerned, network ghosting does all that w/o AP. also its available in CD format for XP, but can be done for 2k, 2k3 just as easily here: https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=123890
