Zip Posted January 5, 2004 Share Posted January 5, 2004 im having problems trying to get my avis (divx) onto a dvd to play on my household dvd recorder in my lounge. ive tried following the tutorials on doom9 but cant get a result. anybody done this yet? Jay C Posted January 5, 2004 Share Posted January 5, 2004 OK, first of all convert the avi to mpeg (functional for producing dvds) using tmpgencSuper (I think its super). Once thats done, use tmpgenc dvd author to actually burn the mpg files onto a dvd. Spyder Veteran Posted January 10, 2004 Veteran Share Posted January 10, 2004 that question is going to vary huge. encoding is an extremely taxing process that will put your pc to its limits. lots of factors such as RAM, CPU, MB, etc come into play here. theres no one definitive answer to your question unfortunately.
