Dennis Green to coach Arizona Cardinals

Recommended Posts

Dennis Green, one of the winningest NFL coaches in the 1990s, signed a five-year contract Wednesday to guide the struggling Arizona Cardinals, Green was 101-70 during his 10 seasons with the Vikings and went to the playoffs eight times. The Cardinals plan to introduce Green on Friday at a news conference.... hes a good coach but can he guide that franchise to eight playoffs? comments anyone?

Yes he will, he will do exactly what Marvin Lewis is doing in Cinci. and the Clippers are starting to do, convince the owner it is time to invest. Arizona has a great team just like the Bengals did last year, but it takes a coach and an organization that actually wants to win to be succesful. The Cardinals have a good defense, Anquan Bolden, decent running and now a coach. They need a quarterback, Say Kurt Warner, Mark Brunell, Rich Gannon, Jeff Garcia or some other veteran about to get released, then they draft someone and sit him for a year to learn. They are a quarterback and solid linebacker away from a wildcard.

good that he got a job, but he wont be able to have the same success in arizona

you never know. i didnt think anyone was going to be able to help the cowboys, and look at parcells. just goes to show you what a good coach is possible of.
