Dutchie64
Hi all, I have a small server running with Windows 2012 Essentials R2, and want to add a couple of external UBS drivers to the shared folder pool on the network. Strange thing is that the OS refuses to see the external disks other than disks destined for backup purposes. I have browsed the web quite a bit now, but cannot seem to find anything on this. Is this something that is not possible in 2012? I can recall this being possible in the 2008 version. All the data is mostly video/large images related, and I basically don't want to copy all that data over to the internal storage on the server itself. It's just for convenience sake. Hope anyone can shed some light on this. cheers! rob Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1303500-q-external-data-shares-on-a-windows-2012-server-essentials-r2/ Share on other sites
