How to clean yellowing on Xbox 360 controller?

hmm "suffering" from this too, It just came to me, take it part and submerge the plastic upper part in bleach, else i've no other idea, as yellowing occurs in anything that type of plastic (sneakers, pvc pipes, etc)

I've had an Xbox 360 controller in the garage for a few years and the top half has yellowed.

Any ideas how to clean it?

hm, i thought they no longer use that kind material on more modern console? clearly i thought wrong.

anyway the answer pretty much the same as mentioned above.

just get a 'magic eraser' on ebay or pretty much anywhere. their pretty cheap and should work.

make sure you test it on somewhere that you wont be holding, just encase it damages the plastic (which it shouldn't), just cut a small piece off, dip a tiny edge in water and rub it on there, should get rid of the yellowing. don't get the whole thing wet as it will all dissolve.

probably the easiest and cleanest method to go for to clean it.

I agree about the H2O2 or bleach. Bleach is NaOCl (sodium hypochlorite) and the chlorine would help in whitening.
