I know -- in this case I backed up the Registry entries that were deleted. :)

Windows 10 computer repaired.

 

Windows 10 Anniversary edition did not run well for me.

 

Went back to my purchased Windows 10 dvd.

 

I'll wait for regular Updates, if a newer version comes out.

 

No TPM 1.2 appears to have been involved -- just corrupted files.

 

I'll be much more discriminating with defragmenting the hard drive.

 

All is well again ...
