I was just wondering how many people here use their bank's online banking application for their iOS, Android Smart Phone or if is even available their Windows Phone.

My bank has one available but I just don't trust them (security wise) enough to use it. Looks like they created it in-house.  I wonder how many of these mobile banking apps ever have as security audit done?

Yes, it seems safe enough, better than running to a cash point (atm) in the middle of the night to check my balance, or pay for a pizza

(although I can phone my card in for that, like everyone else)

I use it all the time, never had any issues, it includes 2fa, so I feel safe using it.

If my bank offered Two-factor authentication I'd probably use it.

I am not actually sure if they have 2FA or not, but I would have some kind of security like that.

Anyway, I do have the app on my phone (finally, Android saves me from WP again), but I've only used it for emergency cash transfers or checking balances, around once or twice a month. I wouldn't want to use it regularly on my phone. I even deposit checks at the ATM.

It did save my ass once when I was stuck in a Vegas hotel and found my card declined. My bank has instant transfer from other accounts, so I was able to check in within 10 minutes.

my bank's apps looks like it was designed by me reading how-to-design-bank-apps-for-iOS-Android-Symbian-win95-DOS-amiga-windows-ultra-lindows-osX-youtube-chrome.iso.pdf.exe    so no...
