What you must do:

  1. Open Regedit from Run (Winkey + R or right click Start button, choose Run) type in the run box: regedit and then hit Enter
  2. Go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
  3. Create a REG_DWORD value named ShowSecondsInSystemClock
  4. Set its value data to 1
  5. Logoff and login again.

This adds seconds to the tray clock.

Works in Windows 10 Anniversary Update (v1607) and higher.

Screenshot of it working in Creators Update (v1703 / 15063.11)

The image is broke dude! But I tried this on the Creators Update and it wouldn't "inject into Explorer" that in itself doesn't sound great :s

And just for fun, here's the history lesson why the clock originally didn't display seconds:

:p

I love the movie, but the thing I have an issue with if you look at the gun, and follow the trajectory of the shot, not only did the bullet exit squib not line up, it's also not the correct exit angle....
