DocM
This is the Nvidia AI used by Tesla, and soon by many other automakers. What the AI sees it remembers, and Tesla's report that back to their "hive mind" servers for other cars to use. New roads, stop signs etc. https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2017/04/27/how-nvidias-neural-net-makes-decisions/ Quote It’s just not practical to program a car to drive itself in every environment, given the nearly infinite range of possible variables involved. But, thanks to AI, we can show it how to drive. And, unlike your teenager, you can then see what it’s paying attention to. With NVIDIA PilotNet, we created a neural-network-based system that learns to steer a car by observing what people do. But we didn’t stop there. We developed a method for the network to tell us what it prioritized when making driving decisions. > > > Edited May 9, 2017 by DocM BetaguyGZT 1 Share Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1330218-reading-an-ai-car%E2%80%99s-mind-how-nvidia%E2%80%99s-neural-net-makes-decisions/ Share on other sites
