I did order just 1 drive just for kicks. i hope i get it!! i can assume that they are NOT making a profit off the drives at that low price, wholesale on those drives in 1000 quantities is like $60/drive!! But in all honesty, when people are ordering 8-10 drives each, it's almost absurd. Almost abusing their good nature if they honor the price. That's why I thought the 1 drive per household would be a good compromise. and i agree with that also. I i recieved one drive i'd be happy. Haha, I'm doing a co-op out in Roanoke now. I go to V-Tech, still living in Blacksburg. When this is over, I may try to work for someone like Echostar over the summer since I'm staying here for classes. And ya, I ordered just 1 160 in my first order. But later I ordered the 250 and maybe another 160, don't really remember. I got 4 of those 200's for a RAID0...I just don't know where to store them, LOL! you would have some sweet speed on those!! you might even manage to saturate your PCI bus!! and to have 800GB w/ that speed...
