And for filetypes...most of my music are aac..so im fine with that. Others might use ogg though. (iRiver) iPod also shows up as a drive.

But yes, it is worth considering if you really need the battery life and others.

Its cheaper in the uk (iriver ?250 ipod ?300).

The extra battery life is useful to everyone because longer life = you charge it less = battery will take longer to die completely

What does the iPod have that iriver doesnt? (Am asking as i genuinly dont know)

The iHP-120 is the best player on the market.  The 40GB iHP-140 will be $479.99 when released soon.

Actually, it's already out. Most places who carry it are already shipping orders.

Edit; Can't find a pic of the 3G iPod/iRiver side by side, though I'd recalled seeing one, however I do have this pic which gives a general idea of the size. ( It's only bigger than the iPod by 1mm, don't recall if it's width, depth, or height though :huh: )
