So I get a support call from a remote site (300 mile round trip)....

User - We have no internet access in the hut at the back of the yard

Me, Takes a look remotely and can see no reason, gets the user to check cables are insterted and all the usual things and can still see no reason.

Me - I'm due there at the end of the week and will take a look then.

Me, called to site same day on an emergency so go in to the hut and take a look to find this...

 

Apparently the cabinet was moved and the electrician did this mess and it worked for  little while. I now have to go in and do it properly. If only the move was communicated to me...

Hate contractors sometimes...

Fun fact: I've just learned that I share my birthday with Bruce Wayne. I don't go beating people up in alleys though, so that's both one way of telling us apart and also yet another sign of how money can change you.
