I don't like flying. It's not a fear of flying, but I don't like being stuck in a window or middle seat with no way out, the amount of time waiting around, dealing with security, customs etc.

The one joy of flying is being able to order a couple of pints without anyone thinking about what time of day it is. Time, and by extension social norms, are irrelevant in an airport.
