I was able to extract the calendar icon from Outlook 2003, but I don't remember off-hand where I found it.

yea I have been able to get a few icons from the app pe's but the rest of the toolbar icons are not contained inside those files.

Right  . They're not stored in the DLLs or EXEs as resources, like other programs are. Microsoft specifically did that, according to some beta posts I read during the beta test. You'll have to edit them, take a screenshot, and paste them into Photoshop, etc.

I was looking for them in the past before also... they are bitmap images not icons, they are stored in one of the apps dll files... they are really hard to find, i forget where they where found...

Bummer, I don't mind converting them to ico myself I just need to know what file to grab them from.

You can get 460 toolbar icons in Office 2003 style at the following site :

Yes they do cost money, I bought them for my VB.Net work and they are an excellent quality at a great price.

Hope that info helps.

Kind Regards

Thats correct, they have made their own version of the Office 2003 icons, I use them in my VB.Net applications, there really good !

Kind Regards

I'd buy them if I had the money to buy the full pack laying around... but in the process of starting a company and money gets tight hehe

you have to go into the office folder and create a shortcut for each program and the change the icon.

^ i changed them once but i am now a proud owner of office 2003 so i don't have to worry about it anymore. office 2003 is really great!

off topic but is office 2003 like windows xp where you need to activate it and after you've changed your hardware X amount of times they make you call in to activate if you install it again because they think you have it on another computer?
