Creative DVDA drivers cause BAD_POOL_CALLER bsod, as does installation of windvd and powerdvd, so I conclude that 2k3 has no dvd capability. I had it running before I figured that out. Just a little heads up for ya :) If you are having issues with dvd playback under Win2k3 try using video lan client ( http://www.videolan.org ).. it plays almost everything i've thrown at it, even mpg/avi files that crash winamp/media player, a bonus is it plays dvds, vcds and will play bin/cue files without them being mounted via tools like daemon tools.. --pete. I stand corrected, but I'm not gonna reinstall 2k3 again anytime soon. I switched over to it for the speed, and I have learned today that a properly tweaked out XP install is just as fast, if not faster, than 2k3. Spent a few hours tweaking the registry and services, etc and now have a pretty speedy setup going on. Only thing I can't figure out is why aim.exe is taking up 24 megs of ram. Anyone have any ideas? Back to the thread's topic, here's my desktop (click for 1280x1024 png).
