CoolCatBad
I have been an Opera fan from wayback, but dissapointed with recent releases until this one. Opera diehards will know all this already, but for others; First, kill those adds. Go here and copy the AdBlocker.css file. http://members.chello.nl/b.kroonspecker/opera/ Save it as such in .......Program Files\Opera75\Styles\user\ Then open......Program Files\Opera75\OperaDef6.ini and scroll to [LocalCSS Files], there should be 11, add this at the end- Name 12=Ad blocker stylesheet File 12=C:\Program Files\Opera7\profile\styles\user\AdBlocker.css Restart Opera and open Tools/Preferences/Page Style Change Default Mode to User Mode, My Style Sheet/Choose-locate the AdBlocker.css. Also in Preferences go to Network and change the Max Connections and Total Connections, I find they work best if X4, eg 16 and 64, 32 and 128. Go to History and Cache, Opera has a default of 5 hours (!) to check new data. Change Check Documents-Always, and the other 2-Every Hour. Finally go to Windows/Loading and select Redraw Instantly, this is similar (I think!) to InitialPaintDelay=0 in Gecko browsers. Click Apply and that's it.
