Why does FireFox fail to load some times when Chrome doesn't?

To sell anything on eBay i have to go through Chrome, it just wont work on FireFox.

 

I just tried uploading an image to Imgur - eventually managed to do it through FireFox but it kept failing. After going back a few hours later it worked. I've previously had to use Chrome.

 

Just now tried posting on another forum - had to do it through Chrome as it wouldn't load through FireFox.

 

Had problems on here earlier today for pages loading through FireFox - had to use Chrome.

 

Though i prefer FireFox when it works so what's the deal?

I would recommend the "Refresh Firefox" option or "Safe Mode" as first step toward trouble shooting to isolate the problem:

 

 

- Open "about:support"

- Click on "Restart Firefox without add-ons" and see whether you are able to reproduce the issues.

- If Not, then one of the addon is culprit. If Yes, then try "Refresh Firefox".
